Founding Engineer

As our first engineering hire, you’ll have an extremely high degree of autonomy and agency at Codes. You’ll own projects from start to finish, designing the requirements and implementing the solution with customers.

What we’re looking for:

• A generalist software engineer with experience working across the stack
• A high degree of ownership who will take on and fix things that they see are broken
• You think equally about big picture and specific details, while executing with speed. Strategizing is 20%, execution is 80%
• You can learn new technologies quickly and make immediate impact with them
• Run through wall mentality. There is no task beneath us today, and that will be the culture at the company, forever

What you’ll be doing:

• Scaling the Codes Health platform
• Improving and scaling our LLM pipelines
• Supporting relationships with our customers and quickly iterating based on feedback

Ideal Experience

• Prior experience at an early or fast growing startup
• Experience with both frontend and backend technologies
• Experience working with LLMs
